Hey now!  It’s Tuesday.  Let’s drink some craft beer!

Tuesday, March 6 – Founders Night @ The Pony Bar, Manhattan:

Some would call Founders arriving on the East Coast one of the best things to happen to New York City ever.  Perhaps we should have a public holiday to celebrate?  Until then

we’ll just have to settle for there amazing beer events – and tonight’s is happening at the Pony Bar.

This is Pony’s first time with Founders and they’re pulling out all the stouts – Breakfast Stouts that is.  The Pony is promising a few varieties of them alongside the rest of Founders big lineup.  The likelihood of disappointed is non-existent.

The Pony Bar is located at 637 10th Avenue on the Northwest corner of 45th Street, Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan.

Tuesday, March 6 – Mikkeller VS Evil Twin @ Bar Great Harry, Brooklyn:

A good ol’ fashioned Danish showoff.  If those really exist then there’s one tonight at BGH in Carroll Gardens.  They tried to pair brews up that could be comprable in a competition, but that proved rather difficult as both breweries produce beer that is hard to categorize.

Check the list:

Mikkeller I Beat yoU
Evil Twin Yang Imperial IPA
Mikkeller To From Via 2011
Evil Twin Yin Imperial Stout
Mikkeller Monk’s Elixer / Belgium
Evil Twin Monk Suffers Serious Sugar Rush on Barbados
Mikkeller Wet Hop Kellerbier
Evil Twin Södermalm Hipster Ale

Bar Great Harry is located at 280 Smith Street on the corner of Sackett Street, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.

Wednesday, March 7 – Deviant Dales IPA & Hops and Heifers Release Party @ The Rye House, Manhattan:

Oskar Blues has two big brews premiering this spring and they want you to try them.  Nine lines will be pouring on Wednesday – Nitro Dale’s Pale, Nitro Old Chub, Oaked Old Chub, Deviant Dales and fresh Hops and Heifers.  There will also be plenty of Colorado styled chow – steaks, sliders and the type of oysters you can only get in the Rockies.

Nothing like some brew to help you choke down those kind of oysters.

The Rye House is located at 11 West 17th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, Chelsea, Manhattan.

Thursday, March 8 – Stone Brewery Tap Takeover @ Bierkraft, Brooklyn:

We’re all well versed in Stone Breweries many pours.  That only makes it more enjoyable to have a night with all of them to yourself.  They’ll be dominating the taps at Bierkraft, including two special cask selections.  Check out the list:

Friday, March 9 – The New York Beer Company Grand Opening @ The New York Beer Company, Manhattan:
We love the Empire State.  We love people who appreciate what New Yorkers create – from food, to whiskey and especially our beers.  We love drinking it and are great at brewing it.  The New York Beer Company is our kind of place then.  Boasting 40 draft and over 50 bottles it promises to give you something delicious to drink – however unlike other massively stocked beer bars this ones got a theme.  The selection is mostly centered around NY beers – Sixpoint, Empire, Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn, Kelso, Middle Ages, Coney Island, Blue Point, Ithaca, the list goes on and on.  That New York State of Mind song never made more sense than right now.
The New York Beer Company is located at 321 West 44th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue, Hell’s Kitchen/Theatre District, Manhattan.
